and housekeeping.

S Chemical! Discussion of the class structure and purpose, meal
and transportation policy, and overview of the institutional cleaning
product market. Pretest. |

the four essential components of cleaning – time, temperature,
pressure or friction, and detergent, and the relationship between
them. |

water quality, equipment, nature of soil, and nature of substrate. |

on Regulatory and Safety issues, including Material Safety Data
Sheets, labels, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tagout
requirements |

Three part
final exam, as follows:
- Workstation
Test – Each person is given an opportunity to answer
one or more field related questions at each of ten stations
that require the use of Total Test Kit or other measuring/testing
devices covered in the class.
- Safety/Regulatory
Test – A specific review of the discussion on Material
Safety Data Sheets, labels, personal protective equipment,
and lockout/tagout.
- Final
Exam – this covers all topics taught throughout the
week.
